Commissioners Meet In New York Today TodayBroun Broun Swope Stone Dunne and Cassidy to Address Gathering GatheringNEW NEW YORK N Y May 10 Represent ¬ atives of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners will begin a twoday convention here tomorrow at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel At the first morning ses ¬ sion 930 a m addresses will be made by Beverley Broun president of the nation ¬ al association and chairman of the West Virginia Racing Commission Herbert Bay ¬ ard Swope chairman of the New York Commission and of the Turf Committee of America C A Stone president of the Thoroughbred Turf Club of Kentucky Francis P Dunne steward representing the New York State Racing Commission and Marshall Cassidy assistant secretary of The Jockey Club ClubAfter After the addresses various committees will be appointed The commissioners will then adjourn to Belmont Park for the races racesAt At 800 p m tomorrow night the com ¬ mittees will go into session Suggestions will be entertained from American breed ¬ ers horsemen and operators of race tracks tracksSpeakers Speakers at Wednesdays session will in ¬ clude Jerry Giesler chairman of the Cali ¬ fornia Horse Racing Board Ashley T Cole New York State Racing Commisisoner and Maj Ednyfed H Williams chairman of the Illinois Racing Board The election of officers of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners and a round table discussion will follow the addresses
