Saluting Service Men I note that many men in the armed services still own horses They are a credit to the country and to the turf In the racing press I think their service titles should be coupled with their names like Lt A G Vanderbilt or Sgt Philip Bieber I believe the public should know that so many men in uni ¬ form are still vitally interested in the sport and that racing too is supplying men to win the war It would be a very simple matter to do this When trainers make their entries in Ihe morning they could list the owners with their proper rank The names and titles also are listed or should be on the daily pro ¬ grams gramsSGT SGT PHILIP BIEBER Boston Mass
