The latter, well back to the stretch, was on the extreme •utside for the drive and hung at the end. FLYING EASY, in close quarters from the start, tired near the end. BURNT CORK was under strong handling from the start, subdued PROUD ONE and was bearing in in the drive. PROUD ONE saved ground throughout and tired. COLORS UP, well back early, came to the outside when improving her position, ducked to the inside in the straightaway and finished strongly. MATERIALIZE came from well back. SAL OLD PAL was used up in the pace and quit under pressure. REXLMAN passed tiring horses in the straightaway. MELODY was outrun. KATES SILVER had good speed.
