Won driving; second and third the same. DARRY DEAN, under light restraint until reaching the upper turn, responded readily when roused and. coming between horses entering the stretch, wore down the leaders and was up in the last strides. BULL WHIP went to the front before coing a quarter, set the pace under occasional urging and gave way to the winner near the finish. COLORADO ORE, well placed and a :harp factor from the start, came determinedly during the stretch run, but was not good enough. ALUMONT stumbled slightly entering the bark stretch, recovered and then made a good bid before tiring during the last eighth. SEASON CALL could not threaten when hard urged during the drive. AIRCRAFT lacked early speed. WISE DUKE was done alter the half. GOOSEBERRY, away slowly, could not threaten thereafter. FAST WORK had early speed. TEDDER was done early. TRUMP, well ridden, went to the front early, set the pace to the final eighth under occasional urging, swerved to the inside when put to punishment, and drew clear when straightened. WISE COLONEL, never far back, came to the outside entering the stretch and closed determinedly. HI GOLD, a forward factor from the start, made a good bid during the drive before tiring. LADY STARDUST, away sluggishly, worked her way up on the inside and made a good bid before faltering during the last eighth. SIDONIA had early speed. JO BETTY began slowly and was never prominent. BUTTERMILK, slow tc begin and outrun in the first three-eighths, worked her way up on the inside and, after taking command entering the stretch, drew clear without need of strong urging. GRAY ROMANCE, fractious at the post, began well and raced forwardly placed throuehout, but was not good enough for the winner. BRIAR SHARP went to the front in the back stretch nad held on well to the final eighth before faltering. PAIRFORT could not better his position and had no mishaps. ORCUS bean sluggishly and was never prominent. QUARTO broke well, but failed to keep up. IRON MIKE tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. CRAMPS IMAGE raced in closest pursuit of COMANDO TOM to the stretch, came out slightly for the drive and. responding to punishment, disposed of the latter in the last sixteenth. COMMANDO TOM went to the front at once, established a clear lead and continued gamely, but was unable to withstand the winner during the late stages. DARBY DAMRON, ourun in the first three eighths, came between hoises for the drive and finished resolutely tinder punishment. RED WONDER, on the extreme outside throughout, could not Better her position. LOVE PACT, slow to begin and outrun to the last three-sixteenths, came to the inside and closed well.
