Md., April 6.— Including j three two-year-olds and headed by Ken- tucky Derby and Preakness aspirant Jim-! mie, who performs for Mrs. R. Carruthers, | eight horses under the care of trainer R. F. | j "Bobby" Curran have arrived from Miami j j and are quartered at Pimlico. Curran expressed himself as well satisfied with the | manner in which Jimmie made the trip j northward. Others in the string are Cee j ■ Raf, Sea Lever, Baraka and Gold Boy. A pleasing enough bay son of Chance Play and the Luke McLuke mare Nurse-jmaid, Jimmie started but five times last year and during that juvenile stage of his ; career won two races and was twice second. During the winter he "blossomed" out considerably and more or less developed into a prospective candidate for three-year-old fixtures. It is Curran s intention to start his charge the first Saturday of the meeting, April 15, and should later competition and conditioning warrant granting the colt his t chance lie will be sent after the Preakness.
