Carload of Horses Arrives At Beulah From Hot Springs COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 21.— A carload of horses arrived at Grove City from Hot Springs. Ark., today. These arrivals, along with several from various other points, increased the number of horses stabled at Beulah Park to 375. The Beulah meeting will open May 6 and run through May 30. Checking in from Oaklawn were Harry Wells, T. H. Swezey, Dave Nugent, Kenny McCray and E. G. Mahoney. Wells shipped in Tuloma and Veiled Prophet, while Swezey arrived with three head and Mahoney four. Nugent checked In with Blue Orchid and All True, who were raced at Beulah with much success last year by Jim Chesney. McCray, the former ■ jockey, campaigns a formidable stable in his wifes colors. Other additions to the Grove City colony r today included Earl Roberts, from Marion, 111., and Sam Kirkpatrick. from Evansville, - Ind.
