■ r - ; - - ? i Early Subscriptions Made For Lincoln Fields Stakes LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 21.— Although 1 nominations for six stakes to be renewed i by the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club during its 29-day meeting, opening at the Hawthorne track in Chicago on May 16, do not close until May 1, a number of subscrip-t tions already have been received, it was stated here today by C. Bruce Head, who , is in charge of racing for that association. . The Lincoln Fields Jockey Club is adding j ,000 to each of the six features. Five of f the events are for three-year-olds and up-1 - ward and will be decided at distances ranging - from six furlongs to one and a quarter r 1 i miles, while the remaining stake is reserved for two-year-olds.
