COPPER BEECH jumped well, showed speed on the flat and was galloping at the finish. BFNKKSAR was outrun in the first part and outlasted ON THE CUFF under piessure. The latter tinished with good courage from a slow start. MAT hobbled at the eleventh fence and then tired. BLlE FUNK fell at the eleventh fence. STUNT MAN lost rider at the eighth fence. BILL HARDEY torced the early pace, shook off STEEL CHAIN when ready and held on well. .MICHAELO was blocked in the eailv running, saved ground entering the stretch and closed with good courage. MONSOON, on the inside from the start under mild restraint. w;:S sent up fast rounding the stretch turn and was eased back when the winner went oer and then, at the end could not impiove her position. RECCE was hustled into command, showed earlv speed, then tired in the final furlong. BERTIE S. showed a eood effort all the way but could not menace the leaders. SEGUI A was never a factor. PF!PPY MISS was sent up fast alter the start, assumed command rounding the stretch turn, also swerved under pressure and then faltered suddenly in the final sixteenth. MINEFINDER was taken under restraint when outrun, responded in the stretch run and closed fast. BLUE WHISTLER was eased back in the early stages, improved his position under punishment and closed with a rush. FUTURAMA raced over tiring horses in the final furlong. The others had no mishaps.
