Jeffords Stable, Eighteen Strong, Going to Camden CAMDEN. N. J.. June 9— Pavot. juvenile champion of 1944, and the best horse bred in New Jersey in recent years, will be among the 18 head whom Walter M. Jeffords will ■ ship to Garden State Park early in July. It is understood he will be among the nominees for the 5,000 Jersey Handicap, a mile and a furlong three -year-old event, set for decision on August 25. Entries to this and other of the dozen fixtures of the 50-day meeting, which opens on Friday, July 13, ! will be closed on June 15. Trainer Oscar White reports that Ace I Card, clever stake-winning daughter of I Case Ace in the Jeffords collection, was 1 among~tho.se stricken in the coughing epidemic which swept the Long Island tracks recently. However, he believes this miss will be at tops for the 0,000 Colonial Handicap, Garden State Parks six-furlong test for fillies and mares three-year-olds and upward. Each of three runnings of this fixture have been won by a three-year-old.
