Luce to Ride Free Lance PAWTUCKET, R. I., June 9. — Jockey Sam Luce and the Brosnan and Halley stable have severed relations. The Quaker Stater will go to Suffolk Downs as a free lance and J. C. Askew will book his engagements. Luce has been engaged to ride Wallace Renards Mixer in Saturdays Blackstone Valley Handicap.
