PEPPY MISS improved her position steadily and, under pressure in the stretch run. disponed of TAMBO. The latter was slow to begin, moved up fast on the inside, bore in sharply rounding the stretch turn, assumed command in the final eighth and then hung. BELL THE CAT closed ground steadily in the stretch run. BLlE SERGE, on the outside and a forward factor under restraint, was bothered slightly entering the stretch, swerved to the i! -ule and then faltered. JACO ROYAL was sluttish in the early running. CHEESESTRAW vas in close quarters on the inside. TIT TAT TOE was -hutfled hack. YUTAN lacked early speed. A claim of foul was lodged against TAMBO for bearing in. but was disallowed. GREY HOOD niade up ground on the inside. BLACK NED showed early speed, drifted out sharply after taking the third hurdle, tired near the end and was not persevered with.
