, 4 Narragansett Charity Day Program Nets 1,574.04 PAWTCKET, R. I.. June 16.— Final figures of last Saturday, June 9, when Narragansett Park was operated by the management in behalf of various charities, were released yesterday by president James E. Dooley. Complete facilities of the park and all sources . of revenue were donated, with only actual daily operating costs deducted. The result was a net balance of S81,-574.01 , which has beejn distributed as follows: Rhode Island Hospital Building Fund. 0,000 ; Catholic Charity Fund, Inc., 0,000; Providence College Gymnasium Fund, 5,000: Memorial Hospital Cancer Fund. ,500, and the Memorial Hospital Building Fund, 4,074.04. Since the beginning of Narragan-setts fiscal year, April 30. 1945, the association has distributed a grand total of 02,074.04 to charities, figures that include the above, the American Red Cross and other war funds. Plans are in the making for further contributions from the Autumn meeting, which runs from September 3 to October 6.
