PICKET LINE outbroke his field and had no mishap. SPHERIC lost ground in the stretch by bearing out. SLIGHT EDGE was well up from the beginning. BLENCO began slowly. IF-IF tired. REGAL MAID began slowly. BERNADETTE began slowly. STAGER could not keep up. SPREAD EAGLE began slowly. AIGRETTE outran her field from the beginning, drew away into an easy lead, saved ground and was under mild urging at the end. DOLLY ZAC was hustled along and in near pursuit of the pace and could not menace the winner, but outlasted MISS YAM. The latter moved up fast on the outside and hung nearing the finish. Won driving; second and third the same. MILITARY MAN was under urging in the final half mile and moved up fast to wear down SPIKERY in the final drive. The latter showed speed from the beginning, swerved in front of BOLD MATE going to the twelfth fence, forcing the latter to fall and then made a bad landing at the thirteenth fence and his rider was unable to keep him going. CHEN was outrun throughout and was never a factor. HARMONIOUS was outrun. BOLD MATE was moving up stoutly when impeded by SPIKERY at the twelfth fence. BELLWETHER improved his position steadily when roused and, rounding the stretch turn, bumped COMANCHE PEAK, moved up on the outside of the leaders, then bore in slightly and drew clear. COMANCHE PEAK was steadied along, moved up entering the stretch and, when bumped, was eased to the extreme outside, then finished with a rush. SEA BEES, between the leaders from the beginning, was tiring at the end. BREEZING HOME, on the outside of the leaders, showed a good effort. FREEZOUT tired and was not persevered with. FLYING TARTAR, on the inside, had early speed. RIGHT HAPPY was outrun. A claim of foul was lodged against the winner, but was not allowed.
