BIG WIG, forwardly placed and saving ground from the beginning, came to the inside for the drive and, after establishing a clear lead, lasted under strong handling to withstand FLASH 0 NIGHT. The latter, in close quarters during the first three-eighths, secured racing room when settled in the stretch and, finishing strongly, was getting to the winner at the end. CAP ROCK, never far back, held on well to the last furlong, then faltered. TRACK ACE made the pace to the stretch under pressure from WARRIOR PRINCE, then weakened. MASIC0 LAD, on the outside approaching the stretch, could not threaten when set down for the drive. CAMPAGNAS CAL raced wide. MAYOR LEO began slowly and was on the extreme outside throughout. JOES SUN began fast, but could not keep up. WARRIOR PRINCE quit badly after racing prominently to the stretch. POLONIUS, away fast, was forced back after the beginning and failed to recover. COMELATELY, never far back, came to the middle of the track entering the stretch and, ridden out, took command to win going away. CO CHANCE, a keen factor from the beginning, reached the lead approaching the stretch and continued resolutely, but was not good enough for the winner. SEA LOG held on well to the final quarter, then drifted out while tiring. CARLASUE broke fast,, failed to keep up early and could not threaten when set down for the drive. BIZ began slowly, improved his position steadily to the final furlong, then gave way. PADDY D. was outrun. ROYAL EMPRESS never was dangerous. CHICALMO, slow to reach his best stride and on the outside throughout, was smartly handled through the stretch and disposed of RANAHEAD during the last sixteenth. The latter assumed command early, made the pace until near the finish while racing over the better going, but was not good enough for the winner. SINGLE GLEAM, never far back and on the inside, faltered near the finish BULLISH failed to stay when roused for the drive and did not appear to like the sloppy going. WISEPORT could not keep up after showing early speed. REVEAL was far back for the entire trip HAIR TONIC began fast, but dropped back immediately after the start and never was a serious factor. KNIGHTS GIFT, never far back and well ridden, took command when ready and drew clear without need of urging. -DICK STICKNEY, a sharp factor from the beginning, responded readily when roused for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. PRAIRIE FLOWER, on the outside from the beginning, could not get to the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. KOVIAROSE went fo the front early, made the pace to the upper turn, then weakened and lost ground steadily thereafter. BRONZE MEDAL was on the inside throughout and tired during the stretch run PETSOME began fast, but could not keep up. PORT MARS never was a serious factor. COME AND GO, alertly handled, went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating and retained her advantage without need of urging. WINTER RULES began fast, but could not keep up early, worked his way forward steadily after the first quarter and finished willingly under punishment, but could not get to the winner, although easily best of the others. POWDERED MILK, a sharp factor throughout, failed to rally when set down in the drive. CHERRY WINE was racing forwardly on the upper turn when bothered by BLENETTE, was forced to take up sharply and nearly fell, then came again when clear, but had no chance to menace the leaders. QUIBS BALLY was never dangerous. SESSION stumbled soon after the beginning and was far back throughout. BLENETTE bore in badly, bothering DOCKIE and CHERRY WINE, then tired badly in the stretch. MISS WINKS went to the front after three furlongs, made the pace to the final quarter, then faltered and could not withstand the winner. STRING BAND, slow to reach best stride and far back to the upper turn, made a game bid entering the stretch, then weakened. BILLIES CHOICE was never a serious factor. WAR WISE raced prominently to the final quarter, then gave way. AGRARIAN SON, forced to take up when bothered on the first turn, moved up boldly on the final turn, but failed to stay when set down in the drive. ROSE CAVE had a rough trip.
