McGarvey; bred by Mereworth Farm. WENT TO P0ST-5:34. OFF AT 5:351 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. COLEY BAY, a sharp factor from the start, went to the front when ready approaching the stretch, then drew clear without urging. THORMOND, forwardly placed from the beginning, came willingly when roused for the drive, but could not menace the winner. GUY HOTTEL, outrun to the final quarter, passed tiring horses during the stretch run. LOYAL, pinched back after breaking well, worked his way forward steadily thereafter, but could not threaten the leaders when set down in the drive. BOLO FANCY raced evenly without mishap. LATENT, on the outside throughout, never I was dangerous. RED TED gave way after making the pace for fice furlongs. RECORD MARCH could not keep up and tired badly during the final furlong. MR. DANNY, in close quarters at the first turn, failed to recover. INDIAN GIVER was done early. Overweight Coley Bay, 21 pounds; Latent, 11; Mr. Danny, 1. Attendance, 10,782; Total Mutuel Pool, ,000,621.
