TOROTOWN was a prominent factor from the beginning, moved up when roused, disposed of STAGE SONG and, under pressure, drew away. HASTY BLUE showed a good effort from the beginning and finished well. MON TEAK was sent between the leaders and showed a good effort. OUR BEST began slowly. SWIFT TOWN finished fast through the stretch. RUN LADY could not keep up. ONLY YOURS tired. STAGE SONG tired. The latter began slowly, came to the outside and finished with a rush. FAIRANFIT was in close quarters and was blocked in the early running. JIVE had no mishap. NARCISSUS was slow to begin.
