Stakes Closing Today HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 14. Horsemen here today were notified of stakes closing: at Arlington Park and Churchill Downs tomorrow. At Arlington the deadline for nominations for the 5,000 added Skokie, the 0,000 Stars and Stripes, the 5,000 added Myrtlewood Stakes, and the 5,000 added Pollyanna was announced, while Churchill Downs will close its final nominations for this falls running of the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, and the opening nominations for the renewal of the same race next year.
