Silent Play Destroyed HAWTHORNE, Cicero, HI., June 14. Silent -Play, a four-year-old son of Display and My Corinne, broke down so badly during the running of the second race here today that the colt was humanely de- stroyed. Dr. M. F. Kent, state veterinarian, stated that Silent Plays injuries were such that it was impossible to save the horse, who raced under the silks of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Harris.
