Porter Resigns Post JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., June 27. Trainer Cliff Porter, who saddled Hals Gal for her winning effort the opening day for the Woodvale Farm, tendered his resignation as trainer for the stable. He later left for Lexington, Ky. No successor was named for the post by Royce Martin who races under the nom de course of the Woodvale Farm.
