End of Strife to Be Starter In Miles Standish Stakes SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 27. William Helis End of Strife, will be a starter in the 0,000 Miles Standish Stakes, five and one-half furlongs test for two-year-old colts and geldings which will feature Saturdays card at Suffolk Downs. The bay son of Peace Chance Anticipation n., who was a ,000 yearling purchase, arrived here in company with Olympic Zenith and probably will be on the track tomor row morning for his final prep for the weekend feature. When he was here a few weeks ago, Elmo Shropshire, who manages the Helis racing interests, said that he was going to send End of Strife here for the Miles Standish, but nothing more was heard of that colt until he arrived today. End of Strife graduated from the maiden ranks in New Orleans early in February when he scored over a sloppy track. Since coming North, the Peace Chance colt has run two good races in New York but the best he could do on both occasions was to pick up second money. Of these two outings, his best showing was behind the good Brookmeade colt, Peace Harbor. He was beaten a length and a half by that youngster in :57, over a fast track. Another probable starter in the Miles Standish will be C. T. Chenerys Mangohick. The gelded son of Sun Beau Hildene was given his final tune-up for the Saturday feature when he was breezed five furlongs in 1:02. There is also a chance that the other Chenery representative, Hemlock, will also start.
