Occupy Works Nine Furlongs In 1 :51 at Hollywood Park HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif,, June 27. Abe Hirschbergs Occupy served notice that he "will be ready for his best when he takes part in the 0,000 American Handicap at Hollywood Park on July" 4. In a private trial yesterday morning he had work-watchers checking their watches as he sped a mile and an eighth in 1:51. He covered the first half mile in :48, the three-quarters in 1:13 and the mile in 1:38. Two other prospective candidates for the American Handicap also drilled yesterday morning. Charles S. Howards Lou-Bre breezed a mile in 1:47 and the Arrowhead Stables Wise Eagle stepped three-quarters of a mile in 1:14.
