TIME STITCH, well handled when caught in close quarters soon after the start, came between horses entering the stretch, wore down XCITABLE Inside the final sixteenth and was drawing out under stout handling. XCITABLE was kept close to the pace on the outside, moved up to take command leaving the furlong pole and just failed to last. SURE SLEEPY closed gamely through the stretch after losing ground on the turn. BRAS TEDDY was hustled to take command soon after the start and held on gamely to the furlong pole, then faltered. SON OF TIME broke slowly ccbmt5, SPr-? SS 0UHde Jearin9 the far turn then failed to respond to steady urging. BUCK SERGEANT closed fast with a belated rush after breaking slowly, FLYING JIM raced evenly. SISTER G. had brief early speed. LEATHER BOUND was forwardly placed when caught in close quarters near the half-mile pole, then the boy took up sharply and nearly went down. FREEBOY broke slowly, was rushed up nearing the far turn and was blocked, then closed fast with a belated rush through the i final furlong. LIGHTFOOT LEE responded to stout handling in the final furlong to show a andII?...XM.S VICKIE broft slowly, worked way up between horses, but was unable to menace the leaders. TO TOWN JAMES was forwardly placed and had no mishap. UNCLE MOSE went evenly. BROADWAY JIM was unable to keep up. SCOTCHGRASS quit. AMPLE REWARD, rated back off the pace for a half mile, moved up fast on the outside to enter the. stretch abreast the leaders, maintained that position until well past the sixteenth pole, then forged to the front to outfinish J. J. LYNCH. The latter forwardly placed while racing between horses, was eased back on the turn, then responded to stout handling to make a determined bid in the final strides. ZACATINE was under steady urging to set the pace and held on stubbornly to the final seventy yards, then faltered. FAST TEMPO was used up forcing the pace for five tHfv .YRONE, outrun to the head of the stretch, came fast between horses under steady urging. SHOOT TO BOOT had speed for a quarter mile, then tired. CHANCE SORD, well placed on the outside, moved into contention with a rush, disposed of GRAY VICTORY nearing the sixteenth post and drew away under a smart hand ride. OVER ICE, unable to reach the leaders under urging, was steadied along to the stretch turn, then rallied mildly and outfinished SPEED UP for the place. The latter raced behind the pace on her own courage, saved ground entering the stretch, then was lightly ridden through the final furlong. GRAY VICTORY had speed in setting the pace to deep in the stretch, then flattened out. NONYAW was hustled from the start, forced the pace for a half, then quit. AGHADEE saved ground when outrun during the first half, then closed willingly under intermittent pressure. BOXIE was forwardly placed on the outside and had no mishap. The latter saved ground entering the stretch, was bumped slightly by SUPER FOOT nearing the furlong post, then continued on gamely under steady urging. YES OR NO broke alertly, was taken under restraint when outrun in the first quarter, then circled around the outside to close with a belated rush through the stretch. YAVAPAI opened a commanding lead soon after the start, held on well until deep in the stretch, then faltered. SUPER FOOT forced the pace until nearing the sixteenth post, then failed o respond to stout handling. LONE SENTRY remained closest to the pace, responded to urging entering the stretch, caught ARIEL ACTRESS, assumed a slight lead, then faltered under stout pressure. GOTHIC went evenly to the final furlong, then rallied mildly. ARIEL ACTRESS, allowed to open a long lead in the first half, was taken under restraint to the quarter post, then weakened when put to a drive. SINGULAR failed to enter a contending position. The latter sprinted into a commanding lead soon after the start, was steadied along while saving ground, gave way when the winner challenged, then was coming again at the end. DOG TROT, forwardly placed on the outside, made a determined bid, but was not good n-0.? SMOKE PUFF, outrun for seven furlongs, closed a gap on the insid ethrough the stretch. AIR BEAUTY raced evenly and had no mishap. FLOURTOWNin hand for a half, began moving on the outside, lost ground on the turns and failed to respond to steady pressure.
