IN SILVER, outrun and saving ground to the stretch, came to the inside for the drive and, responding readily to brisk urging, wore down the leaders and held POTEMKIN safe. The latter worked his way forward steadily, held on stubbornly through the stretch, but was not good enough for the winner. PIKERS BID went into command early, made the pace to the final quarter and, drifting out when roused for the drive, could not retain her advantage. UNSHAKABLE improved her position during the first half mile, came through on the inside entering the stretch and reached the lead, but faltered nearing the finish. KEY MAN, slow to begin and lacking early speed, closed fast. KINGS GLORY had a rough trip. GREENOCK IMAGE had early speed. DUKES PAL gave way after racing prominently to the stretch. LUCKY ANN was done early. CAKE GRAVY, forwardly placed to the stretch, failed to respond when roused for the drive. HECTOR could not keep up. WILMAR went to the front at once, made the pace without need of urging and easily retained his advantage to the finish. MASICO LAD, a keen factor from the beginning, held on well in a sharp effort, but was not good enough for the winner. BULL WAGON, on the inside and never far back, closed determinedly under punishment. ETERNALLY, on the outside throughout, could not get to the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. MR. BONNIE raced evenly to the stretch, then weakened. FOUR WHITES was outrun. REVEAL lacked early speed. CAMPAGNAS CAL was done after a half mile. AUNT DRUM was never dangerous. SIR SPICE raced greenly. LADY PHARA, never far back and saving ground to the stretch, came to the inside for the drive and, after taking command, increased her advantage without urging. QUE TEE, a keen factor from the beginning, came willingly when set down in the drive, but could not menace the winner. CANT CATCH ME, on the outside to the upper turn, moved up boldly nearing the stretch, then weakened during the drive. RANAHEAD was unable to reach the leaders and had no excuse. MID VICTORY lacked early speed, but finished fast. KAYS LOVE failed to stay after showing early speed. BOWSTRING never threatened. SWEET REWARD was outrun. SUNSLEEP began slowly. DISDOMO, slow to reach his best stride, worked his way forward steadily while saving ground, slipped through on the Inside on the final turn and wearing down LAZY SHOES, held MISS AMERICA safe. The latter, badly outrun to the final quarter, was sent to the inside for the drive and, finishing stoutly, was getting to the winner at the end. LAZY SHOES went to the front early, held a commanding lead approaching the stretch, then weakened in the drive. GREAT PLAINS, also far back to the stretch, closed willingly under punishment. CLOY raced prominently to the stretch, then faltered. STATIC CHASER had early speed. FRANK MUNNS was outrun. HASTY VICTORY began fast, but could not keep up thereafter. OVER NIGHT, a keen factor from the start, was bothered slightly on the final turn, then closed willingly when clear for the drive. CID PLAY, outrun to the stretch, finished fast under punishment. SHE SHE saved ground throughout, but could not threaten the leaders when set down in the drive. SAY NOMORE lacked early speed. OZZIE had no mishap. HEMBOSS was done after the half.
