List of Demoiselle, East View Eligibles Empires Juvenile Fixtures Attract Best Youngsters of Both Sexes Now in Training JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., June 27. Nominations were released today for two of the richest stakes ever offered for two-year-olds in mid-summer in the New York area. These are the Demoiselle for fillies, to be run July 10, and the East View for colts and geldings, 10 days later. Each of these stakes has been boosted from 0,000 to 5,000 in added money this year and are expected to gross more than 0,000 each. There were 275 original nominations to the Demoiselle, of whom 63 remains eligible following the third payment on June 15, 1946. The East View drew 283 original nominees and there are 75 colts and geldings still eligible. Unfortunately, many of the leading candidates for both stakes will be in Chicago at the time, notably C.
