Fourth OneTwo Finish In History of Derby DerbyWright Wright Racers Join Bradley and Ross Stables in Unique Feat FeatCHURCHILL CHURCHILL DOWNS Louisville Ky May 1 The seventyfourth Kentucky Derby here today resulted as expected when Citation and Coaltown finished one two at odds of 2to5 and in consequence it probably will be written into turf history as the Warren Wright or Calumet Derby It was the fourth time that a stables colors flashed over the finish line in first and second places J K L Ross was the first to register the doublebar ¬ reled victory Sir Barton and Billy Kelly being his entry in 1919 E R Bradley dup ¬ licated the feat in 1921 with Behave Your ¬ self and Black Servant and repeated in 1926 with Bubbling Over and Bagenbaggage The Ross and Bradley starters encountered larger fields and far sterner opposition than did Calumet There were 12 starters in 1919 and 1921 and 13 in 1926 The Wright colts outraced only four rivals rivalsSir Sir Barton and Billy Kelly were second choices at 260 to 1 to the J W McClel ¬ land entry of Eternal and Sailor who fin ¬ ished in the fuck at 210 to 1 to win Behave Yourself and Black Servant 865 to 1 were fourth choices the favorites being the H P Whitney coupling of Prudery and Tryster who finished third and fourth respectively at 110 to 1 to win Bubbling Over and Bagenbaggage were the starting favorites at 190 to 1 At 2to5Citation and Coaltown were one of the snortestpricedj favorites ever to win the Blue Grass Classic
