To Continue Red Recognition LONDON, Eng., May 8 UP.— A government spokesman said today that Britain will retain its diplomatic recognition of the Chinese communist government. "In view of the continued lack of reciprocity shown by the Peiping regime and the difficulties confronting British commercial interests in China, will the government consider withdrawing recognition?" Conservative L. D. Gammans asked in Commons. "No, Sir," foreign under-sec re tary Ernest Da vies replied.
