Baron RothschildsVieuxManoir Scores and Will Go in Derby PARIS, Prance, May 8 Reuters. — Baron Huy de Rothschilds English Derby candidate, Vieux Manoir, easily won the Prix Louqsor of just over one and one-half miles at Saint Cloud, Sunday. After the victory, Baron Rothschild said the colt would certainly run in the Derby at Epsom on May 27. Ridden by Jean Lamain and carrying 114 pounds, he beat Blue Song, carrying 119 pounds, by four lengths, with Ques, 104 pounds, three lengths away third. Vieux Manoir went into the lead two and one-half furlongs from home and won in a canter. Vieux Manoir will probably be accompanied to England for the Derby by the Barons other colt entered in the classic, Miel Rosa, but the decision with regards to the latter will not be made for a day or two.
