ACCUSATION, never far back, came to the inside for the drive and was up in the final strides to outgame GEMCO. The latter held a clear lead when settled for the stretch run, weakened slightly during the late stages and could not withstand the winner. HAWTHORN raced in closest attendance to the early leader, then tired under pressure. PRETTY TRICK lacked a convincing rally. TIDES END failed to stay after flashing brief speed. MISS PLACE passed tiring horses. TIA was outrun. SUJAMES had no mishap. LOVE YOU raced wide. THISTLE JAY was never a threat. CHALA and BRIARS BABY were outrun. JUNIORS HOBBY, prominent from the beginning, came out for the drive and, under good handling, responded gamely to dispose of RECORD VOTE during the late stages. RECORD VOTE raced CANINA SIS into defeat, maintained a slight advantage over the winner inside the stretch, then tired slightly while under stern punishment, BRAIN SPRAIN failed to respond when called upon for his best efforts. CANINA SIS was much used engaging for the initial lead and had little left FLAGLER had no apparent excuse. ROLL CLEAN failed to gain the lead and tired. SQUINT saved ground to no avail. MOSTLY BROKE was through early. JOES ACE stumbled leaving the gate and failed to recover PIED DALOUETTE showed nothing.
