Whitney Shipment Held Up CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 10. — Plans to move the C. V. Whitney Stable thoroughbreds to New York today went awry due to the railway firemens strike. Trainer Sylvester Veitch, of the Whitney establishment, brought Mr. Trouble, who ran third in the Kentucky Derby, out for a three furlongs breeze over the sloppy strip and the Mahmoud colt completed the short trial in :36?s. handily. As the Pennsylvania lines are tied up here, Veitch may van his charges to Cincinnati in the morning and ship via the Baltimore and Ohio to New York. i
