K DiKolseth Eastern Turfman Dies at His Maryland Home HomeLAUREL LAUREL Md May 3 Karl D Kolie Kolseth died today at his Cumberland Md home accordingto word received here late this afternoon Kolseth who was 64 years of age at the time of his death was re ¬ cently discharged from the Doctors Hos ¬ pital Baltimore and advised that there was nothing to be done for his condition It is believed that the cause of death was cancer cancerKolseth Kolseth a former big league ballplayer and prior to that a popular figure in the Blue Ridge League has been active in rac ¬ ing since his retirement from the diamond He served in various capacities during re ¬ cent years and for considerable time was a trainer More recently he acted as agent for jockey Charles McKee McKeeFuneral Funeral arrangements and other details are lacking at this time
