Arrange Telecast Series From Delaware Park Again AgainThirtySix ThirtySix HalfHour Programs To Start Over WPFHTV May 24 STANTON Del May 3 For the second consecutive year Delaware Park in con ¬ junction with Wilmingtons WPFHTV will present 36 live telecasts from the track beginning Thursday May 24 and continu ¬ ing daily except Sundays through July 4 The half hour programs will feature the running of the days best race and inter ¬ views from the paddock and winners circle circleArrangements Arrangements for the television shows which last year were the first regularly scheduled telecasts of a daily sports event in Delaware were concluded by Donald P Ross president of Delaware Park and Paul F Harron president of WPFHTV Details and staging of the programs were being handled by Lester Bernd head of the tracks film patrol TV and news pho ¬ tography and David LKaigler the TV stations general manager managerDelaware Delaware Parks 33day race meeting opens May 28 but there will also be three premeeting programs Control point for the telecasts which are on a sustaining basis will be a permanent transmission installation near the turf club entrance entranceBryan Bryan Field Delaware Parks general manager will describe the feature race each day and will conduct paddock inter ¬ views with turf notables One camera will be located atop the saddling enclosure taking in the paddock and walking ring another will be on a platform at the end of the clubhouse dining room and a third will be on the roof adjacent to the tele ¬ casting booth Announcers on the staff of WPFHTV will also describe the various track activities activitiesDelaware Delaware Parks TV shorts will be shown depicting some of the tracks be ¬ hindthescenes activity activityMaximum Maximum power of 316000 watts gives WPFHTV a wide radius that includes parts of central and southern New Jersey central and southeastern Pennsylvania Marylands eastern shore and all of Delaware
