New Starting Bar at Pimlico PimlicoLAUREL LAUREL Md May 3 Starter Eddie Blind is getting a large number of horses famiilar with the new starting bar which will be used at Pimlico beginning Tuesday It is the first time this bar has been used at an Eastern course The bar is designed to keep horses from having ground break out from under them and thereby improve the starts For the first few days of the Pimlico meeting which opens Tuesday the bar will be used only in the sixfurlong chue until the majority of the horses be ¬ come acquainted with it
