Body of Doyle Gardner Taken From Ohio River Probe Circumstances of Missing Riders Death Autopsy Ordered OrderedWATERFORD WATERFORD PARK Chester W Va April 30 A body identified as jockey Doyle Gardner was taken from the Ohio River near eveningGardner Waterford Park late Monday evening Gardner had been missing for over three weeks since coming here from Sunshine Park and the Hancock County coroner esti ¬ mated that the body had been in the water from between two to three weeks weeksIdentification Identification was made through papers found on the body and a tattoo on the arm of the corpse which was spotted floating in midstream by an employee of an Ohio River barge company companyHancock Hancock County police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of his death and have ordered a complete autopsy autopsyGardner Gardner a 27yearold native of Waco Tex was a leading rider in the Wheeling and Waterford Park areas a few seasons back when associated with Buz Everhart but had not ridden much this season seasonHe He is survived by a wife and two chil ¬ dren Funeral arrangements will be an ¬ nounced later
