Officials for AkSarBen Meet Approved by Board BoardChilcutt Chilcutt Will Serve as Director Of Racing Again at Omaha Track TrackGRAND GRAND ISLAND Neb April 30 The Nebraska Racing Commission headed by chairman Earl J Moyer met in Grand Island Saturday During their morning session they approved the racing officials for the 3 5 day meeting at AkSarBen be ¬ ginning May 21 and running through July 6 6Noel Noel Chilcutt again has been named di ¬ rector of racing for the Omaha meeting This will be the third year that he has served in this capacity Chillcut will also serve as presiding steward stewardJack Jack Young and Ralph Boomer will com ¬ plete the board of stewards Boomer will represent the state of Nebraska in the stewards stand standThe The other officials approved by the com ¬ mission have all served at AkSarBen pre ¬ viously with one exception and that is an ¬ nouncer William Murphy Kenneth W Mc Intosh will serve as racing secretary The other officials and their respective posi ¬ tions follow followPlacing Placing Judges Charles Mullaney Ed Champagne and Earl Thompson Paddock Judges James West James Wallace and John Hernandez Starter William Mills MillsMclntosh Mclntosh has already arrived in Omaha to open the racing secretarys office and has reported that there are between 200 and 300 horses on the grounds awaiting the May 21 opening
