was a good workout for Idun had but three horses in it as Fall Wind and Percussion were with ¬ drawn Erb hit Idun a few times coming out of the gate to keep her up with Del ¬ nita and once the champ was there had her under a tight hold Going into the far turn Erb loosed a bit of his rein and Idun went to the front quickly Midway of the run Erb looked over his right shoulder saw nothing in any form of a menace de ¬ velop and made the final bend bendAs As he came into the stretch Erb took another look this time over his left shoul ¬ der since his ostensible opposition was still on the curve then making one brisk shake of his wiiip alongside of Iduns head let her roll to the finish on her own ownIdun Idun paid 220 but actually was seven cents to the dollar in the betting calcula ¬ tions
