"BIG TIM" TO REMAIN AN OWNER. Because Timothy 1. Sullivan lias been devoting his time of late to the furtherance of the political fortunes of Tammany Hal, and eschewing the race tracks, lias given rise to rumors of his withdrawal from the Farrcll-SulIivan-AAeir combination and the sale of his interest In that stable. Christie Sullivan, his cousiu, is emphatic in his denial that the ex-congressman has any such intentions, notwithstanding the fact the east side politician is a big ldser on the season. The Farrell-Sullivan stable is not a large one and has not been prominent since the Saratoga meeting, owing to the retirement of Dr. Gardner, the winner of the Excelsior Handicap, which they purchased from Barney Schreiber for 5,000 last fall.
