DEATH OF AN OLD-TIME TRAINER. Walter A. I.amh. who long ago trained racers for Pat Corrigan and Dan Honig. and later for Horace Tomliuson. when the latter raced some good horses In the name of the Flash Stable, died in this city Tuesday. His funeral will take place today. Mr. Lamb was a quiet, unobtrusive man, who was deservedly -well liked and was a good and successful trainerwhen in his prime. Blindness fell upon him seventeen years ago. This afllietion forced him into letirement and was borne with courageous resignation.
