AYR MAY GET TWO DAYS OF RACING From London comes word that the request for a meeting at Ayr on September 29 and October 1, may be acceeded to by the government. The stewards of the Jockey Club have forwarded the petition of the Ayr executives to the president of the board of trade. The probability of a two-day meeting is pleasing to the Scottish trainers, for their interests have -up to the present been much neglected.
