| AGRARIAN IN SENSATIONAL | 1 18 MILES WORKOUT j PAWTUCKET, R. I., June 27.— Mrs. Frank J. Hellers fast four-year-old Agrarian, which finished third to Cavalcade and Discovery in the Kentucky Derby of 1934, reeled off a sensational public trial Wednesday for his engagement in the ,000 Governors Handicap here Saturday. Working a mile and an eighth, the son of Sickle finished it in 1:506, clicking past the intermediate stations in :22%, :34, :45%, 1:10% and 1:37%. This public trial capped a series of previous works which sparkled with speed. Trainer George Strate reported that the Sickle colt pulled up sound and declared his charge will accept the 122 pounds assigned to him by handicapper Ben Holmes in Saturdays feature. This weight is four pounds less than the top impost assigned Mr3. F. A. Carreauds Time Supply, which worked a handy six furlongs in 1:14% this morning.
