BLIGHTED HOPES worked her way forward Cteadily and finished well. EVA R. raced greenly. COAL, used up in pacemaking, quit under pressure. MAPLE DREAM showed little. The latter took command soon after the start, drew away in the stretch, but tired near the end. SHASTA BROOM improved his position steadily and finished strongly. The latter took command at the start, was put to strong pressure when challenged, was shuffled back when the winner bore over and tired in the last stages. BLACK FLASH, outrun for seven-eighths, mnHo up ground in the drive. TRAGGAT, used up forcing the pace, quit under pressure. IDLE FLIRT showed little.
