I . DEAD HEAT P-OFF " The mutuel pay-off on the dead , J heat at Rockingham Park in the J fourth race Monday, May 25, was, as I shown in the" chart. In wagers made away from the J track the chart prices should pre- vail if track qdds wee , offered and I accepted. Where house odds were ac- cepted the procedure should be as fol-j lows: If was bet on each horse and I 3 to 1 laid on Vote Boy, the pay-off 9 should be to the bettor and to J the layer; if 4 to 1 was laid on Fickle J Chance, the pay-off should be .50 to I the player and .50 to the layer. The amount of money bet, plus the odds laid, with the total divided I equally between the bettor and layer, t is the regular method of pay-off in j dead heats where bookmaking odds i prevail. J i
