Night Shadow Gets 120-Pound Impost Rated on Top for La Salle Renewal, With Stablemate, Icangetit, Assigned 112 STICKNEY, 111., June 13.— W. R. With her impost of 120 pounds. Mrs. Robert McGarveys Night Shadow is topweighted for the week-end feature, but she is in seven pounds under the scale, while the three-year-old Icangetit owned by Leon Tikulski, is only two under scale with his impost of 112 pounds. Since Robert McGarvey trains both of them, they will perform as ?.n entry in the La Salle and undoubtedly will rule the favorites. Second high in the actual weights is the Brolite Farms Challenge Me, with 115 pounds, the Happy Hour Farms recently acquired Devalue was assigned 114, and the Swanee River Stables Corydon, 113. Bracketed with Icangetit under 112 pounds are the older Bolos Choice, who is to represent Hyman Friedberg, and Take Wing, the hope of Mrs. Clyde Troutt. Eleven horses are eligible for the La Salle and all except one of them, Colonel Read, are expected to be actual starters. Colonel Read has been shipped to Louisville. Nominations for this race close tomorrow and secretary Dahlstrom looks for a heavy subscription list.
