Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Hawthorne, Stickney, 111., June 13. The Dixiana horses got away overnight for Detroit in charge of trainer Jack Hodgins. Amber Light and the two-year-old Spy Son headed the shipment. Due to ill health, S. D. Sidell has turned the training of his horses over to J. L. Oglesby. F. E. Butzows Biddy Barton and Bingo Bango are to arrive in Chicago from Lexington in charge of T. B. Young next week. Howard Wells is due at Washington Park Sunday with 20 horses he will campaign in j Chicago for various patrons. Jockey W. Gillespie plans to ride at I Omaha during the coming meeting there. Jockey Herb Litzenberger will handle the Swanee River Stables Corydon in the La Salle Handicap on Saturday. Lyle Dilger is heading for Detroit with the horses Wee One, Stell, Ambranded and My Zaca. R. A. Leigh, Sr., who soon will take over his duties as racing secretary at Omaha, was a visitor at Hawthorne this morning. Frank Carra got in with three horse* owned by Harry Herendeen. He brought Viola Wise and Wise Don from the farm and Wonana from Mexico City.
