Roach Lewis Dies NEW YORK, N. Y., April 30. — Roach Lewis, one of the veterans of the old book-making days, died late Thursday evening at his home in Yonkers. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at the River - side Funeral Parlors, 76th and Amsterdam Ave. Lewis was associated with racing for many years and with the enactment of the mutuel laws retired and entered the business field. His death was ascribed to a heart attack. He is survived by his widow and a brother, Sam.
