Florida Fay Ships to Pimlico For Black-Eyed Susan Stakes PIMLICO, Baltimore. Md., May 4.— Florida Fay, three-year-old daughter of Vincentive and Mary Beam, was scheduled to reach Pimlico today from Suffolk Downs to keep her engagement in the Black-Eyed : Susan Stakes here on Saturday, May 12. This new Pimlico race is over the mile and three-sixteenths distance for a prize of 0,000 and is limited to three -year -old fillies. Mrs. Margaret P. Wirth is the owner of Florida Fay and the filly is trained by F. L. Pickett. Florida Fay defeated an allowance field at Lincoln Downs this spring, going seven-eighths of a mile in 1:28%. She came from last position to run over her rivals and win by a length and a half, indicating that at least the distance of the Black-Eyed Susan will be to her liking.
