BON LYNN saved ground while snugged to the last three-eighths mile, saved ground at the stretch turn when the leaders drifted out and, responding to a good hand ride, won going away. GAY HENRIETTA, reserved to the stretch, was forced wide at the final turn, closed willingly when straight for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. FRIENDLY SANDS broke with her field, but faltered immediately aft« the start, made up ground steadily fend closed fast in a sharp effort. BLEWSO, far back to the stretch, passed tired horses during the drive. ARABY QUEEN, much used, engaging GAY LIBERTY to the stretch, had nothing left for the drive and drifted out while tiring. GAY LIBERTY went to the front soon after the beginning, made the pace to the stretch under pressure from ARABY QUEEN, then gave way. Overweight— Bon Lynn, 2 pounds; Friendly Sands, 2; Gay Liberty, 3. DEAR TINT went into command soon after the start, gradually increased his advantage to the stretch and was ridden out to increase his margin. SKYRAIDING raced nearest DEAR TINT after the start, could not menace the winner, but lasted to withstand SALE PRICE. The latter raced evenly and had no excuse. NIGHT PARADE began sluggishly, but made up ground during the last quarter mile. BLUEFIN began alertly, but dropped back immediately after the start. BEAUTY SPOT could not keep up and sulked during the last three-eighths mile. Overweight— Night Parade, 2 pounds; Bluefin, 3. SEVENTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS. Cee Vee, July 1, 1950-1:41%— 4-116. FINAL EDITION saved ground while in hand to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive ana, responding to punishment, wore down the leaders and won going away. SENATOR GUY, reserved to the stretch, moved into command when settled for the drive, but could not withstand the winner, although much the best of the others. HAPPY LEE raced CONTINUED into defeat after going a quarter mile, held a good advantage entering the stretch, but faltered during the*drive. NOBLE IDEA was outrun and had no mishap. WHACKER PRIDE tired after racing prominently tc the stretch. BILLS .DIAMOND was never a serious factor. CONTINUED quit when challenged by HAPPY LEE. • Scratched— 307872 Lazieven, 104. CLAY PIGEON, away fast and never far back, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, doling fast under punishment, was up to dispose of DATE BOOK in the last strides. DATE BOOK raced evenly to the stretch, saved ground during the drive and reached the lead between calls near the finish, but could not hold the top one and just missed. SHARP TOOL raced prominentiy throughout and finidud strongly in a good effort. DO-DO, outrun to the stretch, closed fast between horses, but could not overtake the leaders: FLORIDA FARMER could net better his position when set down through the stretch. AUGUST began fast, bore out while making the pace to the last eighth, then gave way. RAPID ROBERT began poorly. ROUGH NREADY away alertly, dropped back after the start. BOXIE quit after engaging AUGUST to the stretch. ZERO was through early. Overweight— Florida Farmer, 2 pounds; Boxie, 1. Attendance, 7,189; Total Mutuel Pool, 52,576.
