Impressive Trial Makes Yildiz Starter in Leonard Richards • DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 13.— Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords Yildiz is progressing nicely for future engagements following a respite of about two months, worked a mile in 1:42%, handily, this morning over a good track. The grand-looking son of Mahmoud, winner of Hialeahs Flamingo Stakes, went amiss the morning of the Chesapeake Stakes at Laurel and his injury proved more serious than at first suspected. This mornings work makes him a definite starter in the Leonard Richard Stakes, barring- further misfortunes, and enhances his potentialities as far as the Kent Stakes on June 23 is concerned. *
