TIMUS, unhurried when outrun early, came to the complete Outside for the stretch run and, under good handling, was up in the concluding strides to outgame WEE FOURS. The latter reached the lead between, calls during the stretch run and held on willingly in a sharp effort. SILVER SENATOR disposed of WISE CHOICE to take command inside the furlong marker, then faltered. DIBILLANE passed tiring horses. ROYAL GLENN lacked a rally. GRACE MAE was outrun. WISE CHOICE quit. WHIZ-A-BIT was unable to keep up. THAT AINT HAY began tardily, was rushed Into contention on the outside and tired. BROWN PIRATE came out for the drive and closed with good courage. WONDROUS WISE held a slight lead inside the furlong marker, then weakened. JACFER failed to make up appreciable ground. BLUE LICKS, shuffled back on the far turn, finished willingly when clear. SUNLO was outrun. MEDIANT gave way after three furlongs. MR. SKEETER was through early. STARBOROUGH showed nothing. COMPARE raced UNCLE OTHO Into defeat to a ssume a clear lead before going a half mile and continued on gamely thereafter when subjected to a mild hand ride. ALMAS PET closed with a belated burst of speed and appears ready for a creditable route effort. JOHNNY rated evenly through the stretch without mishap. UNCLE OTHO tired during the drive. WISE POLICY lacked early speed. ROYAL LUCK failed to gain the lead and quit. SHAFFIE retired steadily after having early speed. RANAHEAD and STREAK OF DAWN were always outrun. EDS PRIDE, Within striking distance of the early leaders, finished resolutely on the outside and was up in the concluding stride to finish on even terms with EVER BRIGHT. The latter made the pace to the stretch under steady rating, faltered slightly during the late stages, but lasted to dead-heat with EDS PRIDE. DRY SUMMER raced in nearest pursuit of the early leader to the stretch before faltering. JOHN C. C. closed a gap. DANCE NSING had no mishap. HUDGENS failed to break alertly and never was dangerous. PLAYMAN and ACE CAPTAIN were victims of a poor start. STURDY MISS began tardily and was not unduly persevered with when hopelessly beaten. SIXTH RACE 7-8 MILE out of chute. Ky. The latter held a clear lead inside the final furlong, tired slightly durnig the, late stages and was unable to hold the winner.
