BOLD BLUE was smartly steered through an opening on the inside at the head of the stretch, came outside the top pair for the finish and wrested command near the end. GET BUSY vied with ALL IN ONE for the pace, gained the advantage over that rival in the stretch, but could not stave off the winner. ALL IN ONE moved through on the inside to take a short lead leaving the backstretch, swerved when placed to heavy pressure approaching the eighth pole and hung. NO CASE raced slightly wide into the stretch and could not threaten the leaders. LADY SAILOR was never a threat. LORD CHADWYNNE quit. LARRY A. was steadied within striking distance, gained a short lead when shaken up on the final turn and withstood a long drive to maintain his advantage. VAL RIS began alertly, opened a clear lead down the backstretch, then offered little resistance to the winner when displaced, but held on well thereafter. THEE AND ME was pocketed behind the leaders racing next to the rail, could not get out for the drice, and could not find room inside of VAL RIS or might have proved best IRRITATE raced wide. ALLS FAIR showed nothing. GIGGLE gave a dull effort. BLUE NORKA raced poorly. Scratched— 185253 Rouge Bull, 112; 19100 Nostrebor, 111. Attendance, 10,554; Total Mutue! Pool, 00,785.
