BAKER and GENTRY HORSES TO BE SOLD. Lexington, Ky., January 4. A thorough search through the private box and other papers of the late turfman aud banker, B. Smith Gentry, failed to produce a will. His widow, Mrs. Mamie Lee Gentry, appeared before the court today and asked that his brother, Richard Gentry, be appointed administrator of the estate. He will take charge of the stockyards and various other business enterprises of the deceased, but will allow R. L. Baker, the partner in the breeding and racing business of Baker and Gentry, to wind up that part of the estate. All of the horses will be disposed of privately, if possible, and what is left will be consigned at auction, probably next fall. The stud matrons and stallions, yearlings and horses in training, number about fifty head. .Mr. Gentry was not part owner or the land comprising the Kingston Stud, which is now leased to C. II. Mackey, that farm proper being owned exclusively by Mr. Baker.
